Yes, the title of this one is a terrible pun, but it does let you know what I was up to on a recent trip to Las Vegas. I was able to play the Wynn Golf Club and I have to say first that my caddie was the best I'd ever been assigned, so that was great. I also have to say that for the high rolling golfer who didn't bring clubs, it's really easy to roll over to the golf course, as those things are all included in the rate you pay (to be clear, it's not that cheap).
The second part of the title that is relevant is that Lake Las Vegas seems to have won the battle versus bankruptcy and, in the process, one of my favorite courses, Reflection Bay, was re-opened. This required updates to the Par Four and Second 18 listings thanks to the return of that course. I didn't play when I was there but I checked out the website and the course seems to be mostly the same (slightly re-designed from what I could tell).
The final part that I must mention is that I did in fact win money while in Vegas, which is very rare, but it only partially covered the green fees.
