Eagle Falls Golf Course Overview: This golf course is generally one of the better "deals" in the desert as it cost less than other golf courses and yet stays in fairly nice shape compared to other similar options. The course itself is not overly long but does offer a good challenge with plenty of water. There are also a few unique holes that border on odd, but at least require the golfer to bring some strategy. The most memorable holes are reviewed below:
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 2: Fairly straight forward, this par four has a nice mountain backdrop and is one of several par fours with similar feels on the course. |

Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 3: Another fairly straight forward par four, the approach to the green is better from the left side of the fairway, but that is closer to the desert hazard, so, strategy and accuracy come into play.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 4: This par five is short and fairly weird as there is a large bunkered hump in the fairway that makes the area beyond it a mystery (hint, it's tight and not good to be there). But the green is also elevated severely and behind a bunker as well. Thus, a good drive can allow the player to go for the green in two but a lot bad can happen as well. This hole is truly unique and I think takes a lot of times played to figure out if it's ultimately good unique or bad unique.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 6: This par three is short and pretty, with a lot of desert flora surrounding it. Avoiding the bunkers is a true must as most up and downs will be difficult from any of them.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 7: This par five has an extremely tight drive, followed by a pretty open second shot, followed then by a tough third with the green set over a walled bunker type complex. A true, three shot hole for most golfers, accuracy is at a premium to avoid a big number here.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 8: This par four features a fairly narrow uphill drive to a crest in the fairway. Thus, getting on top of the hill allows a better view to the green, which is on the other side of a creek, with a deep bunker right, making it one of the most difficult approaches on the course, especially from range.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 11: This fun, short par four can be driven but also provides a pretty wide layup if desired. There is trouble for a wayward tee shot and going long or left of the green is really bad.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 12: This par four is very tough with a long drive needed and a second shot that needs to find a green that is sandwiched between the lake to the left and tree/desert covered hillside just left, with a couple of bunkers added for additional challenge.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 13: The lake and mountain combo presents the prettiest tee shot on the course by a mile. The hole is not too long but requires accuracy on both shots to avoid desert areas.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 14: This hole is weird; first and foremost, the player has to drive a long way after the previous hole through some abandoned looking desert to where this (and only this) hole is located. Thus, it has a very isolated (in a weird way) feel to it. The hole itself is a short dogleg left that is theoretically drive-able for the aggressive and long player. The green is in a bowl and is severely sloped. Any shot long will stay on the hill, leaving a brutal downhill chip. Thus, the best play is a safe tee shot leaving a full wedge shot to control on to the green.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 16: There is water on this par three but any decently struck shot should avoid it. The more present hazards are the bunkers short/right of the green. However, going long/left will leave a tough chip back down the hill and there is desert way long as well. All-in-all, a well constructed par three.
Eagle Falls Golf Course Hole 18: The finishing golf hole is a short par five with a drive that has to be accurate and cannot go OB to the right. The green has water to the left and wraps behind with the "Eagle Falls" feature on the far side. Thus, the aggressive golfer may try for eagle but a layup approach is a bit safer if par is needed.
