Tustin Ranch Golf Club Review

Tustin Ranch Golf Club Overview: Located in the heart of Orange County, this ho-hum golf course is okay, but way overpriced. With some decent golf holes (most of which are repetitive and almost always feature a hill on one side of the fairway on top of which are cut 2-3 bunkers and planted next to them are 1-3 palm trees) and pretty good golf course conditions, the golfer will have fun out there, but not at the $100+ it costs to play. See best golf holes reviewed below:
Tustin Ranch Hole 2: This short par five is reachable in two if the golfer can clear the lake on his second shot. The driving area, however, is really tight and the green is only 24 yards deep, so it will take two great shots to accomplish that. As a three shot golf hole, the key is to place the ball with a good angle to the pin for the still tough approach.

Tustin Ranch Hole 9: This medium length par 5 is all about the third shot, which must cross the lake to the green complex. Of course, a big drive could tempt the long hitter to go for it in two, but precision is key either way.
Tustin Ranch Hole 10: The opening hole on the back is a par five that is pretty open and if the drive catches the downslope about 250 or more from the tee, the player can go for the green in two. The green is relatively narrow and has a nice backdrop of palm trees.
Tustin Ranch Hole 11: The signature golf hole requires precision as water pretty much surrounds the green.
Tustin Ranch Hole 12: The toughest par four on the golf course is brutally long with a challenging drive between the fairway bunkers and a tough, usually fairly long, approach shot to a green that is only 23 yards deep and features bunkers left, long and right. (not pictured)
Tustin Ranch Hole 15: This relatively short par four shows more character than most at Tustin Ranch as the driving area is tight with three bunkers right and a steep slope left. The uphill approach is to a tiny green with trouble left, right and long in the form of bunkers or a hillside. (not pictured)
