Beechtree Golf Club Summary: This golf course near the Atlantic coast (no ocean views though) lies in the lowlands and spends half its time weaving around the marshes. The other half of the golf holes are cut from the local forest. During the right season (not early Spring as pictured here, before the trees had recovered from the winter), the course can be very beautiful based on these factors. The architecture, however, is just okay. The golfer will enjoy their round under the right conditions but won’t necessarily come away remembering a ton of holes. The ones they might remember most are listed herein:
Beechtree Golf Club Hole 1 (right): The opening shot of the day is straight forward but is better approached from the right side of the fairway on this slight dogleg right.

Beechtree Golf Club Hole 2 (right): The second hole of the day is a nerve-testing par 3, with all of the obvious trouble short. However, bunkers flanking the green offer no real bail-out.
Beechtree Golf Club Hole 5 (below): This a standard dogleg left around the forest. The drive should ideally fly the bunker on the inside of the dogleg but, at a minimum, must stay left or short of the ones on the right of the fairway.

Beechtree Golf Club Hole 7: The first par five on the course is relatively short and, with the wind, a real birdie opportunity. The drive is fun as the tee box is separated from the fairway by 150 yards of marsh. While not a real problem, it is visually daunting. Trees are on both sides of the fairway and two false bunkers look like they guard the front of the green, but are set back up the fairway enough yards to be flown for the aggressive player. The green is wide and sloping. (not pictured)
Beechtree Golf Club Hole 15: The signature golf hole of the course is very tough and a great long par four. The hole seems naturally cut from the contours of the forest and the bunkering on the drive forces a good drive to have any chance of reaching the green in regulation. The drive must also stay left of the corner of the dogleg to avoid being blocked by trees. The green slopes very strongly and any shot that strays right is bad.
