Rio Bravo Country Club Overview: Located in the foothills northeast of Bakersfield, this private golf course has a
country feel to it, which is tempered only by the houses that are found on most golf holes, but none of them crowd the course.
See best holes reviewed below:
Rio Bravo Country Club Hole 5: The first par three of the day is tough with water short of the green and a large bunker to the left of it. Back pin placements are particularly inaccessible without a strong draw.

Rio Bravo Country Club Hole 11: The signature golf hole is an absolute beast. At over 600 yards and strongly uphill for at least the approach shot, the golfer must crush three shots. This is not made easier by the strong left to right slope of the fairway and the OB to the right and trees to the left.
Rio Bravo Country Club Hole 17: This is a short dogleg right par four where the main bunker must be avoided. The green is shallow and wide requiring an accurate shot to avoid a tough, undulating putt.
