house-surrounded course offers a lot of challenge, without much fun. The golf holes, while generally long and
well-bunkered, with uncharacteristically long rough for a desert course, don’t
provide much in the way of entertainment value.
Also, the signature 10th hole is the biggest gimmick of all
time with each tee box being a different playing card suit. Too bad the golf hole is as boring as they
come. The only holes worth mentioning
are listed below:
The Legacy Golf Club Hole 13: This short par four is the only truly interesting hole on the golf course, with an extremely narrow landing area between desert wash left and houses to the right. The green is small, multi-tiered, and perched along the edge of the desert wash left and long. This is a good, short, target golf type challenge. The green has a tier running from the front to the back, so even a more tame approach must find the correct side of the green if any putt is going to fall.
