Twin Oaks Golf Course Review

Twin Oaks Golf Course Overview: The first four and last three golf holes are routed along a creek that provides ample hazards for the golfer to consider. The golf holes in between use more elevation change and a few lakes to bring the challenge to the course. However, even from the back tees there are no par fours over 400 yards, which makes this course fairly simple to tame for the golfer with decent distance. The best holes are reviewed below: Twin Oaks Hole 1: The first golf hole is one of the better par fours on the course and typifies what the golfer will see, with some elevation change, bunkers on one side of the fairway and a small, bunkered green.

Twin Oaks Hole 3: On a course with good par threes, the third is guarded by the creek crossing in front of the player and to the right of the green. Although not in play for a decent shot, it is in mind and can make the player over-compensate and hit their shot towards the OB on the left.
Twin Oaks Hole 7: The other par three on the front nine is simple on paper: go over the water. Anything short is dead. The tier in the middle of the green will also make putting difficult if distance is not mastered.
Twin Oaks Hole 15: The best par four on the back nine has a very wide, but split fairway with rough running down its middle. The left fairway is closer to the water, but will leave a shorter approach to the green.
Twin Oaks Hole 18: The last hole of the day is also the longest. With creek running down the entire left side of the hole, the golfer must stay right on all three shots, but a hillside will make any shot right naturally be followed by a shot with a tendency to go left due to the ball being above the golfer’s feet. The approach is way uphill to a green with a tier in the middle, a deep bunker front right and rock formations back right and center. Thus, the last shot of the day is formidable. (not pictured)
