Bulle Rock Golf Course Summary: Home of the LPGA Championship,
this venue is a good challenge, even from the shorter tees (it is Pete Dye after
all). The golf course relies mostly on water
features and meadows to create a nice wide open feel. However, there are a few golf holes that bring
trees into play and put a premium on accuracy.
The most exciting or noteworthy holes are reviewed below:
Bulle Rock Hole 2: The elevated tee shows the golfer the entire hole, from the small, but findable creek down the right side, to the larger creek crossing the fairway about 100 yards from the green. The green is slightly elevated (from the fairway, not the tee), wide and not too deep. Thus, any shot from long out will be tough to stop. This is a good hole where the range of scores can be wide.

Bulle Rock Hole 6: This relatively short, downhill par 4 affords a nice view from the tee. What it lacks in difficulty (but the right greenside bunker is still nasty), it makes up for in being visually pleasing.
Bulle Rock Hole 11: The longest hole on the course is downhill all the way with bunkers placed here and there to catch errant shots. The green is long with a lake in the background.
Bulle Rock Hole 12: This relatively famous par 3 is standard Pete Dye nastiness. With a lake all the way down the right of the green and bunkers left, the tee shot must be on target.
Bulle Rock Hole 13: This long, difficult par four requires two long and accurate shots to reach the green in regulation, with lost balls a real option for shots going right.
Bulle Rock Hole 18: The finishing golf hole to the round has the two scariest shots of the day as the fairway and green complex are relatively tight, and anything left is water-bound. Long and treacherous, this is a good test to end the round.
