Mojave Resort Golf Club Overview: This resort course in the desert is a fun experience, if the heat doesn’t cause too much trouble. The fairways are wide, the rough light, but there is plenty of good golf design utilizing bunkers and water hazards to snag the poor shot. The best holes are listed below:
Mojave Resort Golf Club Hole 6: This long, difficult par four is the first real challenge on the front nine, but at 444 yards, it provides plenty. The fairway pinches in around 200 yards from the green between OB left and a desert area filled with high bushes and trees on the right. Therefore, the player must rip a long drive dead straight, or lay up leaving a long iron to a well-guarded green. (not pictured)
Mojave Resort Golf Club Hole 9: The closing hole to the front nine lives up to its name “The Brute”. At 471 from the tips this dogleg left is long enough, but the added pleasure of water awaiting shots that are too short, long or left makes even the strongest golfer a little more nervous during their long approach to the undulating green. (not pictured)
Mojave Resort Golf Club Hole 16: This short par 4 is a great decision hole with water running down the length of the right side. The aggressive player who hits driver will also have to contend with a bumpy fairway in front of the green that can careen shots into the deep bunkers. If the player goes left and the pin is back, the approach is almost impossible. (not pictured)

Mojave Resort Golf Club Hole 17: This fun par 3 is all carry. The lake edge over which the shot must carry is straight across, so the only bail-out area is long or right. Either of these options is not very good as a precarious chip will most likely be left with water in the background and the green sloping towards it. (not pictured)
Mojave Resort Golf Club Hole 18: This classic finishing hole is a great “cross-over” par four where the drive must carry the water right and avoid bunkers left, only to leave an approach back over the water to a narrow and long green with only 3 feet of fringe saving any shot that goes left.
