Arroyo Golf Club Overview: Located in Summerlin, near the outskirts of town and with views of the Red Rock State Park area, the Arroyo Golf Club is the public golf course of the two at this facility. The amenities (clubhouse and driving range) and course conditions are very nice, but the routing features many long drives (the type in the golf cart) down streets and most of the golf holes are the classic "between the houses" type golf holes. This means that they start to blend together without many standout offerings. The most memorable golf holes are reviewed below:
Arroyo Golf Club Hole 2: This uphill par four has a very tight drive with trouble on both sides. The approach is then more docile, with the obvious bunkers being the only real trouble to avoid. |

Arroyo Golf Club Hole 3: This par three isn't overly difficult but the green is large and the sand trap that surround the green are well-framed.
Arroyo Golf Club Hole 6: This slight dogleg left par four has a very tight looking drive. There is actually more room to the left than is visible, but right is definitely bad. The approach is to an angled and well bunkered green.
Arroyo Golf Club Hole 15: This shorter par four takes advantage of the great backdrop of the mountains and requires accuracy off the tee with trouble on both sides. The green has a big fronting bunker but is wide.
Arroyo Golf Club Hole 16: This par five has a drive over water and is pretty tight from tee to green.
Arroyo Golf Club Hole 18: The last hole looks very similar to the 16th from the tee box, but it is instead a pretty long and tough par four with water to clear on the tee (not too difficult) and another well bunkered green complex.
