OK...let me be clear. I want to go on record to say that my golfing buddy Kevin is very, very good at golf and has beat me by 5 strokes in every 18 hole round we've ever played, regardless if i've shot 82 or 72 (that is not hyperbole). This has to cover at least 50 rounds over the last decade.
HOWEVER, last summer we decided to play a round at the short golf course near where he grew up, which has changed a bit over the years, but is essentially a tiny par 3 golf course. I am happy to say, that with a witness as well, my even par score on this one day was enough to beat him. To be fair, I encouraged drinking before the round and that may have played a role, but I don't care. A win is a win.
He may be undefeated versus me on 18 hole golf courses, but I'm 1-0 on par 30, 10 hole golf courses tipping out at 1,060 yards. Boom!!
