Graeagle Meadows Golf Course Overview: One of the older golf courses located in the hilly, forested region an hour northwest of Reno, this golf course spends half of its time in the forest and the other half in the meadows that surround the Feather River. Not exceptionally difficult, this course offers and easy-going feel for the golfer wanting a relaxed pace and surroundings. The best golf holes are described below:
Graeagle Meadows Hole 2: The elevated tee offers a nice view of the surrounding area. The lake is not difficult to clear from the tee, but the golfer must beware the small creek down the right side that turns into a lake to the front and right of the green. However, the fairway is wide with limited other trouble to plague the golfer.

Graeagle Meadows Hole 6 (left): The view from this elevated tee is spectacular with nothing but trees, mountain, and sky in the distance. The drive itself must avoid the obvious trouble in the form of a huge bunker in the middle of the fairway. Other than that, the green is well-guarded by two more bunkers, but the hole is straight as an arrow.
Graeagle Meadows Hole 7 (below): This big dogleg left par 5 features a drive over the Feather River. The player can cut off as much or as little of the dogleg as they like, but can't go too far right or will find heavy grass. Once safe on the other side, the rest of the hole is straight to a relatively wide-open green.

Graeagle Meadows Hole 15: After a series of relatively straight and boring par fours, this hole features a drive between (or over if the player tries it) two bunkers. The hole then swings right to an interestingly countered green sheltered by large pine trees to its right and back.
Graeagle Meadows Hole 17: By far the most daunting drive of the day is on this very tight dogleg left par four in the trees. There is no room for error on the tee shot and the second is to a green with a couple of small humps weaving their way across the surface, making accuracy critical from tee to green for a good score.
Graeagle Meadows Hole 18: The finishing golf hole is a dogleg right par five that weaves its way around and through very large trees. Although the drive is pretty wide (although missing the mammoth tree to the right of the fairway is recommended), the hole narrows considerably from their and features a well-guarded green complex.
